Sidewalk Study Williamsburg

Text: Duino Elegies by Rilke & Finger Exercises for Poets by Dorianne Laux

Guides: Abbi & Phil

Place: Williamsburg

Do poems have vibes? Does their very nature defy the act of summary? In this Sidewalk Study we will dwell in the liminal space between knowing and understanding with the help of the poet Rilke. He may have known something about vibes: “then, in the void, vibrations—/which in us now are rapture and solace and help.”

Let’s discover what he meant, maybe, and see if he can help us sense (and make sense of) our “interpreted world.”

To participate in a Sidewalk Study, please join us for an Attention Lab or Seminar to join our list.
