Lov/ethic is a collective grounded in the theory and practice of care and the application of love in our lives and in our communities. We are dedicated to providing tools and resources for strengthening relationships with our friends, loved ones, our greater NYC community and connect us with global struggles against colonialism, capitalism, and social inequities.

Recipe of Relation is an ongoing project in collaboration with the SoRA of group attendance to food, cooking, and dining as an object of study and a cultural practice. Over the course of three months, we digested texts by Jessica B. Harris, Claudia Caremi, Robin Wall Kimmerer, and expanded our palate through discussing fiction & nonfiction, poetry, short films, photography, blog posts, and much more, all while practicing our findings through preparing a meal for a collective potluck.

Recipe of Relation will be hosting a Dinner Party on April 5th (4/5) from 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM. This event is a collective potluck, with members of our project crafting delicious meals inspired by our study. We encourage all, in lieu of a ticket, to bring a beverage or light snack to share with the group.
